So what's happening with Harsh Times? Most sites are reporting it as having a US limited release scheduled for April 28th. However, there have been 5 stills, no one sheet and no trailer. There doesn't seem to be an official website as yet. The marketing seems a little .... subtle.

Pathe UK are handling distribution of Harsh Times in the UK and perhaps Europe(?) They have a release date of August 11th and a very limited amount of info about the film in the coming soon section of their site. Keeping an eye on their website is probably not a bad idea as while they don't yet have a trailer they have mentioned one is coming - this is encouraging!

C21Media ran a story last week about how MGM is building a distribution arm and suggesting that Harsh Times is a strong contender to be the first movie this new organisation will distribute. Click here to read the article. They do still suggest we are talking a US spring-time release. We'll keep you posted if we hear of a change to the release date or if we see some sign of life on the promotional front.
