Rescue Dawn Premieres

Christian Bale question and answerRescue Dawn Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday. There was a Cocktail reception and also a Q& A after the film. I have photos of Christian at the Premiere which I will put online shortly. A kind soul has videod the Q+A and put the footage on You Tube, this is definitely one of those "thank God for the internet" moments! click here to view.
MGM have just announced that they are picking up North American distribution rights for the film so at last this film might be going to actually see a general release, which will bring those of us outside the US at least one step closer to seeing a DVD release!
You can view a detailed review here but it does contain spoilers so be warned!

I am so looking forward to finally seeing this film!-- Maria

The Prestige Poster

Christian Bale The guys over at AICN posted the one sheet for The Prestige online. I have been a little slow to post it as I was waiting to see confirmation elsewhere that it was the final poster. I have to admit I was hoping it wasn't. I really don't like it. The "smoke and mirrors" magic theme seems like a bad 80's flash back. The poster for The Illusionist, seems more creative to me. I think, The Prestige might have been hampered by the fact that there were a number of faces to work into the poster, whilst The Illusionist one sheet only features Ed Norton. That said I'm sure The Prestige is going to be a great film, the one sheet doesn't impact that!

Harsh Times Publicity

christian bale in Harsh Times
Ahead of Harsh Times opening in UK cinemas tomorrow, the british film magazine, Empire has an interview with Christian Bale. He also mentions The Dark Knight and The Prestige. He has been a busy guy! Click here

Timeout have a podcast about the film and about 4 minutes in, you can hear Christian Bale talking about the film. There is also a clip at the end

The Hollywood news have a Q&A with Christian Bale here

Film Focus have the rest of the interview they previewed last week over here

Also there are reviews of the movie coming out - I am in two minds about posting them, because I know that the majority of you live in countries (like me) where the film is yet to open. What do you think do people want me to include reviews or just the film publicity? -- Maree
